An absolutely new distillate, but with an important history: Gin Superfine is produced by Tassoni starting from 9 expertly selected botanicals, such as: Juniper berries, diamond cedar scorse, fig leaves, coriander seeds, bergamot peels, centifolia rose buds, Angelica roots and iris rhizome.
The plants are distilled inside ancient copper stills from 1872. It is an aromatic gin, excellent both alone and combined.
Gin Tassoni offers a tasting rich in scents and flavors. Juniper provides an earthy and slightly spicy base, while rosemary and sage add herbaceous and aromatic notes that recall the Italian hills. The citrusy touch of lemon and bitter orange gives the gin a complex and satisfying taste profile. The finish is long and clean, leaving a slight citrus aftertaste.
One of the most interesting features of Tassoni Gin is its versatility in cocktails. It can be used in a variety of drinks, from the inevitable Gin & Tonic, in which the citrus note goes perfectly with a slice of lemon or orange, to more complex cocktails such as Negroni or Martinez. The complexity of its flavors also makes it suitable to be enjoyed on its own, perhaps with an ice cube to cool the palate.
