Tumminello began in 1977 in Castelbuono, a Sicilian town in the Madonie area, when sisters Arcangela and Rosa opened a bakery with their husbands, Lucio and Vincenzo. The business has remained connected to Castelbuono as it has grown from a small workshop into a biscuit producer using modern equipment.
Ingredients: Type 1 soft wheat flour (42.7%), raw cane sugar, fresh eggs (12.3%), candied lemon peel (9.6%) (lemon peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar), potato starch, extra virgin olive oil (5.3%), high-oleic sunflower oil, salt, natural flavourings, raising agents (disodium diphosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate).
